The same four caned panels and the same mango frame, painted a soft sage that sits somewhere between green and grey depending on the light. This one stands on tapered legs rather than a storage box, so the floor reads through underneath and the bed takes up less of the room visually — which is the point of a painted frame in a smaller bedroom. The cane is left natural against the paint.

Two figures per size, always. The mattress column is what you are shopping for; the frame column is what has to fit the room and get up the stairs. Delivered part-assembled. The headboard, footboard and side rails bolt together — about forty minutes with two people, tools included.
Mattress sizes
Mattresses are not included. Each size above is built to take a standard UK mattress — King 150 × 200cm (5ft), Super King 180 × 200cm (6ft).
This is worth a moment because a great deal of imported wooden furniture is not built to those sizes. Indian and American frames are commonly two to ten centimetres out, which is the difference between a mattress that drops in and a mattress that does not go in at all. If you are replacing a frame rather than buying a new mattress, measure the one you have and check it against the figures above before ordering — and send us the measurement if anything looks borderline.
