Dark Brown Chesterfield sofas
Dark Brown is the most formal leather we make — a deep espresso that reads almost black in low light and shows its brown only in sunlight. It is the colour that makes a large sofa look smaller and a room look more serious.
How it ages
Changes least of any colour in the range. The grain becomes more pronounced as the hide softens, but the tone stays close to where it started. Marks and scuffs are also least visible, which makes it the practical choice with children or dogs.
What it sits well with
Needs light around it. Excellent against cream, stone, pale oak and white walls; heavy and cave-like against dark paint unless the room has generous windows.
