The Marlow
The headboard is the whole point: a pointed arch drawn from the havelis of Rajasthan, filled with hand-woven cane and framed in mango wood finished ebonised black. It stands 140cm tall, so it reads as architecture rather than furniture. Underneath, the platform sits low and floats — the legs are hidden inside it — and the slats take a mattress directly, with no divan base or box spring needed.

Two figures per size, always. The mattress column is what you are shopping for; the frame column is what has to fit the room and get up the stairs. Mattress sizes
Mattresses are not included. Each size above is built to take a standard UK mattress — King 150 × 200cm (5ft), Super King 180 × 200cm (6ft).
This is worth a moment because a great deal of imported wooden furniture is not built to those sizes. Indian and American frames are commonly two to ten centimetres out, which is the difference between a mattress that drops in and a mattress that does not go in at all. If you are replacing a frame rather than buying a new mattress, measure the one you have and check it against the figures above before ordering — and send us the measurement if anything looks borderline.
